Gideon's Advance Fast is for Gideon's Army
who very simply is a small
group of courageous men who are willing to go against incredible odds to
stand in the gap and break the yoke that the enemy has placed on our land
for so long. These men must be courageous and fearless, they must be
watchful and vigilant, they must be men who are willing to both live and die
for Jesus Christ. (They must be men who are
willing to trust God instead of themselves) On August
3rd 2003 I along with two other brothers were praying about what we could do
to stand against the evil that is flooding our land. The Spirit of the LORD
came over us and we began to weep, at that moment we felt that something was
conceived in the Spirit. The LORD lead us to begin looking for 300 fearless
men, like Gideon’s men who would stand in the gap and believe God to break
the yoke of the enemy. These men will be the fore runners for the main God’s
Minutemen movement. Like Gideon’s 300 men who stood in the gap against the
Midianites who came year after year to destroy the fruit of God’s people.
Gideon and his men were armed with a clay jar, a torch, and a trumpet. We
are believing God to hand pick 300 fearless men, armed with a Bible and a
Shofar (trumpet), and like the clay jar we must be willing to be broken
before the LORD, that His light may shine out from us. We came together for the first time to fast and pray for
three days and three nights, we started Friday, April 30th, 2004 at 6:00 pm
and finished on Monday, May 3rd, 2004 at 6:00 pm. We had an awesome time in
the LORD, there were 11 men from age 21 to 72. We believe that what God birthed
in the Spirit will effect the world. Each year we will be doing a water only
fast and will be separating ourselves and setting ourselves apart for the
LORD alone. No phones, No TV, No radio, No newspaper-----------God Alone.
Our first fast was in the Spring of 2004, and we will be
fasting in the Spring of each year until God Himself has hand picked 300
fearless men who are willing to stand in the gap, men who are willing to
fear God and not man. Many who want to be a part of God’s Minutemen will not
feel called to be a part of Gideon’s Advance, that’s ok, Everyone will have
their part in this fight. Please be lead by The Spirit, If you feel The

I saw this gathering of 300 men,, like the 300 men of Gideon, who were hand picked by God to stand in the gap against the enemy, who would come year after year to destroy the fruit of Israel. Just like the enemy of our soul comes year after year to destroy the fruit of the Church.
I believe that this gathering of 300 men, who will fast and pray, will be used by God to break the power of the enemy, and the yoke that he has placed on our land.
After the enemy has been put to flight, then I believe that all God fearing men in America (God's Minutemen) must be called to pursue and chase the enemy until he and his work are destroyed.
If you are a man who is willing to be used by God to see our Nation restored, then I believe that you qualify for the job. There is not an age limit for this fast, But you must know that this is battle ground and it is not a place for the child, the weak, or the coward. Let me explain what I mean as I am speaking in spiritual terms. If you have a 12 year old son who is serious about God and can grasp the reality of what God is doing, and if he is willing and able to fast for three days, then you are very welcome to bring your son(s). Please do not come to this fast expecting it to be easy or fun, we are in a battle for the very soul of our Nation, not to mention our families, our churches, and our very lives. Because my God is a great God, a God of Power and Might, a God who always wins His battles. I am confident that if we are willing to walk in obedience to Him as our Commander and Chief, then the victory is ours.
If you feel called by God to stand in the Gap with us, then I MUST hear from you one week before the fast begins. We need a little time to prepare and make ready, also once the fast begins the doors are closed to those who would want to come late. This is a serious fast and we must play the Man if we are to be affective at all. The fast will begin at 6:00pm on Friday April 24th 2009 and end at 6:00pm on Monday April 27th 2009. If you are still serious about joining us, I have made a list of things you MUST bring, things you may bring, and things you MAY NOT bring to the fast. We are very serious about what God is calling us to do with this fast, so if you feel the Holy Spirit pulling at your heart, then join a cause that will change this Nation and change your life forever.
