2009--Maturity--2009

We are just a couple of days away from the 4th of July, the day that marks our freedom as a Nation. I feel very blessed that we had founding fathers that went before us to pay the price for freedom for us that we could live in a free Nation. We should never take for granted the price that was paid by someone else to give us the ability to worship God as we choose. It makes me think about the great price that Jesus paid to give me independence from the bondage that I once walked in. Everything good will cost something, good things are never free. If you ever get something good and it doesn't cost you anything, either someone before you paid the price, or someone after you will pay the price after you, but someone will pay the price. We are very close to loosing our freedoms that we take for granted, and when we loose the right to be free men, then we will see freedom as a valuable thing and we will never take it for granted again. Take some time to be grateful for your freedom.
